The Black Cactus conquers The Big Apple

The course record for a 10k in Central Park is 28:08. Do you think that you might be ready to do that there [at Healthy Kidney]?

AA: I just never know. It depends on the competition and on your preparation. I've run that course before. I think I ran like 28:14 on my way toward the half-marathon - me, Haile (Gebrselassie), and (Robert) Cheruiyot). That day, if you'd tell me I'd ran 28:14 for that (10k) split, I'd say "oh, man." You have to get the feel of the course, just come in and run it, and see how you feel.

So do think you'll probably do a marathon in the fall?

AA: Oh yeah. I would love to do New York.
