In the men's competition, Shore Athletic Club dominated the team scoring, outdistancing the second place team ConnQuest by 111 points (199 compared to 88). Southwest Sprinters Track Club (Southwestern) placed third with 85 points, fourth place went to Greater Boston Track Club (New England) with75 points, and rounding out the top five was Club Northwest (Pacific Northwest) ending the day with 66 points.
Sesar Figueroa of the On the Run Racing Team (Gulf) was the Most Valuable Male Athlete, scoring 24 points. He finished second in three events, the 1500m, 5000m and 10,000m. Joeane Jadotteof Greater Boston Track Club was Most Valuable Female Athlete, also scoring 24 points. She won the Shot Put, Discus Throw, and finished fifth in the Hammer Throw.
The top men's performance, based on the IAAF scoring tables, went to Jerome Miller of Southwest Sprinters Track Club for the 13.38 he recorded in the 110m Hurdle preliminaries.Alice Faldiye was awarded the top women's performance for her winning jump of 6.70m/21 feet 11.75 inches in the Long Jump.
This year, fourmen's meet records were set: 10,000m (31:32.74, Joseph Gray, Club Northwest), Shot Put (19.04m/62 feet 5.75 inches Rhuben Williams, Shore Athletic Club), Triple Jump (16.72m/54-10.25), Samyr Laine, Greater Boston Track Club), 110m Hurdles (13.38, Jerome Miller, Southwest Sprinters Track Club).
There were also four meet records broken on the woman's side:Hammer(60.28m/197-9, Amy Thayer, Shore Athletic Club),10,000m(37:03.86, Vanessa Martell, Brockport Distance Project), Triple Jump (13.92/45-8), Ayanna Alexander, Greater Boston Track Club), Long Jump (6.70m/21-11.75), Alice Faldiye, Southwest Sprinters Track Club). Along with the meet records broken, Alyssa Tower from Club Northwest set a new U.S. W45 Master's record in the 10,000m with a time of 38:10.15.
