When I walked up to Paula [dressed up in a British flag] after finishing some minutes behind her at last Sunday's NYC Half Marathon, I said: "So, no Worlds, right?" She smiled, winked and said "Hmmm, I don't know."I followed up with "It was never the plan, was it?" To which she just smiled. "See you back here in November!" "Thank you!"
She made the no-show official today.
