(Splits in below blog)
S: 8miles with money 5K(16:15)
(The 5K was basically what I ran the first 3miles of the CDR previous day but felt much harder...CDR beats you up!!)

Recap: Really solid drop week in which I hit up a test race at the CDR Hilly 15miler. If I had never ran this race I wouldn't be able to use it as a great test race but having ran it 3 past times I knew I could tell what I needed to know from using this hometown race. Blog below goes into more detail but I'm very happy thinking back on it and see I'm going in the right direction. You won't know for sure until you actually run the full marathon to how ready you are but I can say I think that I might be in that 6-10 week phase of getting geared to be ready now. Time to let the Marathon work begin!

Races: Fun weekend of getting to race. Really only raced once and that was Saturday at the hilly CDR 15miler but Sunday on trashed legs I ran in a low key money 5K that is leg 3 of the 4 race money series. Won easily running slightly slower then tempo but it felt like tempo effort. The leader took it out in 5:15 and when he fell off I was committed to that pace so just ran that in 5:15, 5:15, 5:18 for 1st place cash and course record bonus. All and all Marian and I netted a $1,000 dollar weekend of going to the races! Was fun, but now very sore and trashed leg's....
