We here at mzungo.org have mixed feelings when it comes to Moroccan distance runners. Call it unfair but there's no denial of a very tainted history. One way to combat suspiciousness is ignorance. At least some of us try to keep a low profile when it comes to posting news about Moroccan distance runners.
Nonetheless, sometime you come across a great story like this one about Goumri and I just can't help myself and post it. Whatever the full picture, what you can read there is worth your time IMHO.
And should shit ever hit the fan, at least we can say "Told you so!"
