While his Team USA Minnesota colleagues were in the Northwest, Lehmkuhle was down south and won the Mercedes Half in 1:03:38 on Valentine's Day. Running at the front throughout the race, Lehmkuhle was using the half as part of his buildup for the Boston Marathon. The event was his first time back on the roads since the ING New York City Marathon on November 1, where he finished sixth in the USA Men's Marathon Championship and tenth overall. Next up for Lehmkuhle will be the USA 15k Championships in Jacksonville, Florida on March 13.

Jason Lehmkuhle Wins Mercedes Half Marathon in Birmingham, Alabama
While his Team USA Minnesota colleagues were in the Northwest, Lehmkuhle was down south and won the Mercedes Half in 1:03:38 on Valentine's Day. Running at the front throughout the race, Lehmkuhle was using the half as part of his buildup for the Boston Marathon.
