Rotterdam Marathon Faster Than London

The world’s best time of the season that Kenyan Patrick Makau ran on 11 April in the 30th Fortis Marathon Rotterdam has not been surpassed at the London marathon. The Ethiopian Tsegaye Kebede won on Sunday in the British capital in 2.05.19. This is the eighth time since 1998 that Rotterdam has had a faster winner than London. On 19 April the Kenyan Robert Kiprono Cheruiyot triumphed in the Boston marathon in 2.05.52. On the basis of the average of the ten best times that have ever been run, Rotterdam is the world’s fastest marathon city.
