Grandma’s Marathon early weather forecast: Mostly dry, seasonal

It’s still too far out for the Weather Service to be totally confident, but the early forecast for race day along Lake Superior in Duluth looks good for runners in Grandma’s Marathon. The current forecast for Saturday calls for clear skies, with an early morning temperature of about 52 and a high by mid-afternoon of 72. While it’s also too early to accurately predict wind speed and direction, the current computer models show a southwest or west wind on Saturday morning.
