Beach to Beacon - Gebremariam

A record 5,668 runners participated in the event in 2010, which saw Lineth Chepkurui improve the women’s course record by almost half a minute. Three-time winner Gilbert Okari is the men’s record holder with his time of 27:27.5 from 2003.

The Beach to Beacon race is a 10 kilometer (6.2 mile) road running event that takes place along the coastline of Cape Elizabeth, Maine. It begins at Crescent Beach State Park and ends in Fort Williams Park at the Portland Head Light.

Some of the best runners were very all over the world competed on the Beach 13th TD Bank into a beacon of 10K in August 7, 2010, at 08:00. Look at the Lighthouse Beach 2010 race results below.
