Article on Eddie in NY Post from December:

Eddie Owens has the chance he’s been looking for.
The Packer Collegiate senior has dominated the cross country landscape of New York City the last two seasons. The NYSAISAA champion back-to-back years, he has taken his talent to a different level this year.
He won the New York State Federation title in 15:43.9, the fourth-fastest time ever in the 5K race and placed sixth in the Foot Locker Regional meet two weeks ago in 15:46.6. It earned him his first-ever berth in next weekend’s Foot Locker Nationals in Portland, OR.
“It was more about proving it to other people and just kind of getting my name on the map,” Owens said. “Coming from the NYSAIS league people in New York State don’t even know you, let alone in the region or the country. Hopefully after nationals people will know my name a little bit more.”
