Canadian 10,000m record holder Simon Bairu has added his name to the start list for the Scotiabank Toronto Waterfront Marathon, Oct. 16 in Toronto, race director Alan Brookes confirmed Thursday morning.The race already includes Canada’s top four marathoners: Reid Coolsaet, Eric Gillis, and Rob Watson of Guelph’s Speed River track club; and Dylan Wykes of Kingston, Ont. Adding Bairu puts arguably Canada’s best five marathoners on the line for the first time in recent history.
