Wanjiru's mother fails to appear in court

The mother of the late Olympic champion Samuel Wanjiru was not arraigned in court Monday as was published in a section of the media.

Mrs Hannah Wanjiru was expected to appear at the Nyahururu law courts to face charges of assault and creating disturbance.

Police had at the weekend confirmed that she would be taken to court to face the charges she had allegedly committed over the weekend.
