The Dutch run­ning chain store chain Run2Day has a European scoop with its Amsterdam branch. As the first run­ning store in Europe it recently intro­duced a Nike Running instore based upon the lat­est Nike guide­lines.
With these guide­lines Nike Running turns away from the mainly clean and light appear­ance to a more urban and some­what dark­ish atmos­phere. This is par­tic­u­larly reflected by the use of a black ceil­ing and stone and wooden ele­ments in the inte­rior.
