Alistair Cragg goes long

The only Irish male to win the Boston Marathon was Neil Cusack in 1974, but Alistair Cragg hopes to change that next Monday.

Cragg, a 30-year-old who was a 12-time All-American at the University of Arkansas, is set to make his Boston debut and couldn’t be more excited.

“We’ve been gearing toward the marathon for quite a while. It was Boston or London,’’ he said.
