Top 3 from 'record' finish reunite in Boston 10K

Kenya's Moses Mosop and Ethiopia's Gebre Gebremariam have signed up for the June 26 race. They join Geoffrey Mutai, who finished this year's Boston Marathon in 2 hours, 3 minutes, 2 seconds — the fastest anyone has ever completed the 26.2-mile distance.

Mosop was 4 seconds behind, which was also faster than the world record. However, the Boston course is ineligible for world records because it is a straight line, and not a loop.
