New Zealand's Kim Smith, who led the first 17 miles of the Boston Marathon in April before being forced out by a leg injury, was named on Wednesday as an entrant in this year's New York Marathon.
Organizers of the November 6 race said Smith will make that her return to marathon action and will return to competition for the first time since Boston on June 11 in the New York Mini 10K race.
