Not London bound: Ritz

Dathan Ritzenhein of the United States has withdraw from the London Marathon due a persistent ankle injury.
Ritzenhein, ninth in the Beijing Olympics marathon, was injured while training indoors in December and feels that he would not be able to beat his personal best of 2 hours, 10 minutes in April.
Race director David Bedford says "unfortunately he has been beaten by injury. We wish him well and hope to see him in the future."
